Vietnam announces launch of national blockchain platform NDAChain

Vietnam announces the launch of the national blockchain platform NDAChain, which will serve as the core infrastructure for its digital ecosystem. NDAChain was developed by the Vietnam National Data Association (NDA) and is operated by the Data Innovation and Development Center of the Ministry of Public Security. The platform uses a Proof of Authority (PoA) consensus protocol, is equipped with zero-knowledge proof technology to enhance security, and has 49 public-private joint verification nodes, including national institutions and enterprises such as SunGroup, Zalo, and Masan participating in network security maintenance. The blockchain network will provide a decentralized trust layer for e-government, finance, healthcare, logistics, and education sectors. Additionally, NDAChain will support the NDA DID decentralized identity solution for counterparty authentication and digital contract signing. The government states that the NDAKey application will enable second-level identity verification, aimed at preventing fraud and digital identity theft.
