SpaceX Conducts Large On-Chain Transaction After 3 Years, Transfers Over 1,300 BTC Worth $153 Million
According to the Arkham analysis platform, SpaceX – the aerospace company founded by Elon Musk – has just conducted a large blockchain transaction after three years without any transfer activities. Specifically, at 13:09 on 22/7/2025 Vietnam time, the wallet address labeled as SpaceX's (starting with 15oKQ7 and ending with i7Jf1G) transferred 1,308 BTC, equivalent to approximately $153 million, to an anonymous wallet address (starting with bc1q8k and ending with phartf).
The last time SpaceX made a BTC transfer out of its wallet was on 10/6/2022, when the company sent 3,505 BTC (worth around $102 million at that time) to the Coinbase exchange.
Currently, SpaceX still holds approximately 6,977 BTC, with a total estimated value of up to $815 million at the current market price. The company's continued holding of a large amount of Bitcoin in its on-chain wallet indicates that they are maintaining a significant presence in the digital asset field. This transaction has sparked numerous speculations in the community about the purpose behind it – whether it is related to commercial activities, investment, or just a wallet movement by SpaceX.
